Cape 54 Performance Sailing Catamaran for Sale in South Africa. This wonderful vessel has recently returned to her home Port in SA after completing the Cape to Rio. She was the 1st catamaran across the line and 3rd on handicap in the catamaran division. Further to this, she was the only cat that did not make use of the race's 300nm under motor allocation and thus sailed the entire distance. Very impressive. With a cruising speed of 9 knots and capable of doing 12 knots in 15 knots of breeze she is a true performer. Those of us that tend to like to push the boundaries a little will appreciate her current top speed of 22 knots! Her build material is Epoxy Composite and interestingly this vessel is a Bilge Keeler with water ballast capabilities.
